Learning Fun with Auslan Alphabet and Counting Flash Cards

Updated: Oct 10, 2023

In a diverse and inclusive world, communication plays a vital role in connecting individuals from various backgrounds. One such beautiful form of communication that I have the privilege of knowing/learning is Auslan, the Australian Sign Language.

Our Auslan Alphabet and Counting Cards provide an engaging and interactive way for children (and parents) to learn a and appreciate this unique language and embrace diversity.

When I first started looking for baby friendly Auslan tools, I was disappointed by what I found. Many of the products I came across were either too advanced for my little one, or they weren't quite appealing. That's when I decided to take matters into my own hands and create our very own sets of Auslan Counting and Alphabet Cards.

I wanted my flashcards to be simple, easy to use and visually appealing to my baby by using bright colours and bold lines to make them stand out.

Once I had my flash cards designed, I printed them on sturdy cardstock and laminated them for durability. I was thrilled with the final product - My flash cards look great and they are the perfect size for my baby's little hands.

Then came the real test, when I started using them with my little one. To my delight he was immediately drawn to the bright colours and started reaching for them right away. It was amazing to see his little hands and eyes soaking it all in.

Since the first day I came up with my handmade Auslan Flashcards they have become a staple in our daily routine.

I'm so glad that I decided to take the leap and create our very own. Not only are these great for teaching my little one but they have also been a fun and creative project for me.
